Over the years SEF has developed a number of innovative projects such as setting up the Environment Centre and producing Swansea’s first Environment Strategy.

Sustainable Swansea

SEF’s Sustainable Swansea project has achieved some memorable first such as Wales’ first Green Map and the first visit to Wales of the internationall acclaimed Earth From The Air exhibition.

There is also a Sustainability Trail and a biennial Awards scheme.

The BIG Issues

In 2008 SEF identified five BIG Issues.

These issues were selected through consultation with the forum's executive and the Better Swansea Partnership to represent specifically local "issues" that will require a partnership approach for delivery. These are BIG so we are starting a process which will over 3-5 years make a significant difference to all five.

SEF is currently facilitating  a number of groups of key stakeholders. These partnerships are meeting regularly and ddeveloping action plans. Look out for the related events!
