Invite to Swansea Bay conference: 20th September 2011

We would like to invite you to a free conference and workshop for businesses, organisations and anyone with an interest in Swansea Bay on TUESDAY 20 SEPTEMBER 2011, 9AM-4PM, at SWANSEA UNIVERSITY.

The event is organised by the SEACAMS project at Swansea University, the City and County of Swansea and the Swansea Environmental Forum.

The conference will bring together delegates with interests in the commercial development of the area, its management and nature conservation. Swansea Bay is a major attraction and the development of its economic potential, improvements in water quality and ease of access are at the forefront of plans to enhance the status of Swansea Bay. Simultaneously, the Bay’s natural beauty and its important marine and coastal wildlife and habitats need protection.

You are invited to join us for a one day event to learn about the ecology of the Bay as well as current and future developments. There will also be the opportunity to contribute to the preparation of a management plan for the Bay.
